Multi-turn explosion-proof drives ГЗ-ВА, ВБ, ВВ, ВГ, ВД with 1ЕхdIIBТ4 explosion-proof mark equipped with two-way torque limiting clutch (connection to valve: acc. to GOST 26-07-763-73) are used to operate pipeline shut-off valves at chemical, oil, gas and energy industries.
Explosion-proof drives may be mounted in IIВ explosion hazardous zones acc. to GOST 51330.0-99 indoors, outdoors under shelteracc. to Electrical Installation Code Section 7.3 for equipment with 1ExdIIВТ4 explosion-proof mark.
These electric drives allow for:
- Remote shut-off and start-up of valve trim from the operator console;
- Manual operation of valve trim by means of manual override handle in absence of power supply;
- Shutdown of valve trim in any intermediate position by pressing STOP button at the operator console;
- Automatic shutdown of electric drive by means of two-way torque limiting clutch,if the set output shaft torque is reachedin CLOSE/OPEN position, or in case of emergency shutdown of moving parts during travel to shut-off or start-up position;
- Signalling tothe operator console of limit positions of valve trim and if two-way torque limiting clutch is activated.
Electric drive ГЗ-ВВ allows for:
- Automatic shutdown of electric drive by means of limit microswitches,if valve trim reaches limit positions;
- Indication of valve trip position on local indicator scale;
- Remote indication of rate of valve trim opening to operator console;
- Automatic switch of electric drive from manual operation mode to operation by electric drive (for electric drives ГЗ-ВА, ГЗ-ВБ);
- Torque adjustment within the range of 60…100% of max. value;
- Overheat protection of electric drive.
