MULTI-TURN ELECTRIC DRIVESПЭМ

Multi-turn electric drives ПЭМ are designed to transfer torque to valves during their rotation for one or more turns.These drives are designed to activate shut-off and regulating valves within the systems of automatic process control according to control signals of control devices.

  • For nuclear power plants.

Multi-turn electric drives perform the following functions in shut-off/start-up mode:

  • Remote or manual shut-off or start-up of valves;
  • Remote shutdown of valves in any intermediate position.
  • Indication of rate of opening (closing) of valve trim on local indicator scale;
  • Signal to shutoff motor if valve limit positions, or the set output shaft torque is reached, or moving parts of the valve get jammed;
  • Setting and adjustment of torque;
  • Generation of analogue or digital signal proportional to valve trim position for use in signalling/control circuits, or signal transfer through RS-485 interface (ПЭМ-А 100, ПЭМ-Б 250);
  • Generation of digital signals of intermediate or limit positions of valve trim to be transferred through RS-485 interface (ПЭМ-А 100, ПЭМ-Б 250);
  • Generation of discrete signalsof intermediate or limit positions of valve trim to be transferred through RS-485 interface (ПЭМ-А 100, ПЭМ-Б 250);
  • Generation of discreet or digital signals of state of torque switches of start-up/shut-offto be transferred through RS-485 interface (ПЭМ-А 100, ПЭМ-Б 250).

Key features:

  • The electric drives ensure compliance with the declared specification withsupply voltage deviation of -15% to +10% from the nominal value;
  • Output shaft run-out of the electric drive is 15º at most, which extends service life of the operated stop gate.
  • The design of the limit and travel switches provides for its once-only adjustment during on-site mounting.
  • Service life: 15 years.
  • Operation in extreme conditions: over-temperatures, extreme dust and vibration; these electric drives are safe, easily maintained and reparable.
